What We Hope For

Music is a necessity of the human experience. Musicians need to express their art as much as audiences need to feel their music. No one else can do what they do; bring you to tears or make you feel glee or demand your attention in that way where nothing else matters in that moment but what they are saying and how it all feels.

Nothing else moves an audience nor has the power to sync the breath and hearts of strangers. Those with this power cannot do anything else in this life and truly be fulfilled.

During the Covid Pandemic, it became more apparent to people on both sides of the stage that music needs to continue. These house garden shows were a way to make that happen. But it turns out, some of us just prefer it this way - more intimate, more powerful, and with more benefit to the artists. So we decided to do it again this year and hopefully, for many years to come. 

We also decided to add another facet to the model - support, encourage, and fund the future musicians of our community by sponsoring students of music. This includes kids studying at local music school and those studying with a private teacher, locally or remotely. 

Admission for all shows will be offered on a sliding scale starting at $20, with no upper limit, and we ask you to give generously.

Music Methow is not for profit.  All sales benefit the Artist. A percentage of overages will be used to sponsor underprivileged youth of the Methow studying music.  Inquire within for additional details.
